Cupuacu Butter is a natural, fast absorbing moisturizer that can deeply hydrate lips. It's known as a "super-moisturizer" because it's hydrophilic, meaning it loves water and carries it to the skin. 
 
Cocoa Butter is an emollient that creates a protective layer on lips to keep them hydrated and prevent dryness. 
 
Kokum Butter  is a rich emollient that deeply moisturizes the skin, lips, hands, and feet. It's lightweight and easily absorbed, so it's often recommended for people with sensitive skin. Kokum butter has anti-inflammatory properties that can soothe inflamed and damaged skin
 
Castor Oil is rich in the monounsaturated fatty acid ricinoleic acid, which acts as a humectant by preventing moisture loss from the top layer of skin.
 
Beeswax is a natural compound secreted by female bees that's often used in lip balm. It's quite moisturizing, pleasant smelling & can help protect the lips from harmful UV rays. Beeswax has antibacterial properties as well.
 
Jojoba oil contains Vitamin B & E as well as key minerals such as zinc, copper which are beneficial for soft lips and skin.
 
Sweet Almond & Argon Oils contain natural fats that provide emollient properties to the skin to soften and protect the outer layer.
 
Aloe Vera Extract contains vitamin C, vitamin E, vitamin B9, and vitamin B12 and has been known to keep skin hydrated and moisturized.
 
Vitamin E has wonderful antioxidant & humectant properties that support the skin barrier & help make lips soft & smooth.
